Katie Gibson, WHNP-BC

Katie Gibson is a Women’s Health Nurse practitioner. She completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the Ohio State University in 2009. Katie joined LCOB as the practice’s Patient Education Nurse and then moved into her current role as nurse practitioner in 2013. Katie focuses her clinical practice on patient education and wellness and recognizes the importance of addressing the unique health concerns of each woman. Katie is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.

Katie, her husband and young son live in Mount Pleasant with their rescue dog, Guinness. They enjoy travel, snow skiing and boating.

Debbie Erich, FNP-C

Debbie Erich recently graduated from Frontier Nursing University as a family nurse practitioner. Prior to this, she practiced as a registered nurse for over twenty-five years. As an RN, she worked in women's health, pediatrics, critical care, and emergency medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Association of Nurse Practitioner's in Women's Health. She enjoys working in women's health and looks forward to this new opportunity.

Debbie is married to Mark Erich, MD. They have seven children and one grandchild. They currently reside in McClellanville, SC where Mark is a family practice physician for the town. Debbie and Mark have two corgi's-Shem and Scout, and enjoy boating and gardening in their free time.

Alyssa Petry, WHNP-BC

Alyssa Petry is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She recently graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Before joining Lowcountry OBGYN, Alyssa was a labor and delivery/postpartum nurse for six years; four of which have been at East Cooper Medical Center. Her clinical focus is to educate patients on healthy lifestyles, provide preventative care and empower women of all ages.

Alyssa moved to the Lowcountry in 2012 from West Virginia and now resides in West Ashley with her English bulldog Gracie. In her spare time she enjoys working out, paddle boarding, volunteering, and staying active outdoors.
